Founding

KAREL KALIP was founded as a subsidiary of Karel Electronics with the aim of manufacturing plastic injection moulds for telecommunications equipment.

Karel Kalıp San. A.S

The company became a profit center and started manufacturing moulds for the automotive industry under the name Karel Kalıp San. A.S.

The company's first mould to be exported was manufactured for a Plastic Omnium / Renault joint project in France.

SMC Mould Manufacturing

The company manufactured its first SMC mould for Menzolit Fibron as part of the Mercedes Axor project.

The company's first R&D project was realized with support from TTGV (Technology Development Foundation of Turkey).

Co-Design

The company's first co-design project was realized as part of the Ford Transit project.

The company manufactured the first passenger car bumper to be manufactured in Turkey for Fiat's My Linea.

IP (İnstrument Panel)

The company manufactured the first passenger car front console to be manufactured in Turkey.

Karel Kalıp was the first ever Plastic Injection Mould manufacturer in Turkey to be named an R&D Center.

Cooperation Cultivation Award

Karel Kalıp was awarded the Cooperation Cultivation Award by TOFAŞ's Turkish Automotive Factory.
